Plumbing and bathrooms, handled in-house

Full bathroom and en-suite installations, plus the first and second fix plumbing that runs through every extension and loft we build. Having plumbing in-house is the reason our jobs do not stall: no waiting a fortnight for somebody else’s plumber to come and drop a pipe before the plasterer can start. Tiling, screed, waste routes and pressure are all worked out at the start, not discovered at the end.

What’s included

Every bathroom, covered

Full Bathroom Installs

Strip out, first fix, boarding, tiling, sanitaryware and the finishing details, delivered as one job with one price.

En-Suites & Loft Bathrooms

The awkward ones: top-floor pressure, soil routes through an existing house and tight footprints planned out before a wall is opened.

First & Second Fix

Pipework run and pressure-tested while the walls are open on our extensions and conversions, then finished off when the plaster is dry.

Wet Rooms & Level Access

Tanked, graded and drained properly, because a wet room that leaks is a floor and a ceiling, not just a bathroom.

Questions

Asked and answered

How long does a bathroom take to fit?

A typical full bathroom is around one to two weeks from strip-out to finished, depending on the tiling and whether anything needs moving. Moving the soil connection, taking out a wall or going from a bath to a wet room adds time, and we will tell you which of those your room needs before we start rather than halfway through.

Can you move the toilet and the bath to a different wall?

Usually yes, but the toilet is the one with rules attached: it needs a proper fall to the soil stack, and how far you can move it depends on the floor construction and where the stack is. Basins and baths are far more flexible. We work the layout out on site and tell you what is possible before you fall in love with a plan that will not drain.

Do you supply the bathroom or do we?

Either. Plenty of customers enjoy choosing their own suite and tiles, and we will give you the sizes and specifications to buy against. If you would rather not, we will price the supply as part of the job from suppliers we actually use, so if something is faulty it is us sorting it and not you standing in a queue.

Is the plumbing done by your own team?

Yes. That is the whole point of the way this business is set up: plumbing sits in-house, so on an extension or a loft the pipework goes in the moment the walls are open, and nothing waits on another firm’s diary. On a standalone bathroom it means one team from strip-out to silicone.

Can you fit a bathroom as part of a bigger job?

That is where most of them come from. Loft conversions with en-suites, extensions with a new family bathroom, and full renovations where every room changes. Because the same team builds the room and plumbs it, the pipe runs get designed around the build rather than chased in afterwards.
